Meditation, 2026-04-03

Opening Sacred Space, 4/3/2026 Now, let’s open up sacred space and breathe together, while we hope to deepen our experience of Rain and Barbara in new ways. We are calling in the NSEW… we call in the elements of fire, water, earth and air, we call in our spirit guides, we call in animal and bird spirits, plants, trees and the mycelial network upon which we walk daily, we call in whatever names we ascribe to the divine, gods and goddesses, we call in our higher selves, our ancestors, and we even call in our ascendants as we wander through this sacred territory of talking and sharing. Let us release whatever attachments or energies don’t belong to us here, we release them to wherever they came from, let us send healing energies into those areas of our bodies that need them, let us listen and share with honesty, compassion, and integrity during this time together.   And, so it is.  

Meditation for Sacred {R}Evolution Circle, 2026-01-17

I’d like to start with a moment of silence for Renee Nicole Brown who was killed last week by an ICE agent, blessings to her family and to all those who grieve the losses of their loved ones killed by tragic violence.   Pause. If you can, get into a comfortable position so that we can breathe together for a few minutes, If you’d like, feel free to close your eyes, or turn off your camera if you would like to.   We will start breathing in what David Clements calls rhythmic breathing and that can be whatever kind of breathing feels good to you. We are all unique and can find our sweet spots, rhythms and paces of breathing which may change during this meditation or over time. Meditation: Waterfall, Volcano, Geyser

Please find a private quiet space for this meditation. I invite you to sit or lie down in any comfortable position you choose.   You can close your eyes or let your eyelids droop, and take in a breath of fresh air through your nostrils, breathing slowly and gently in, (breathe) and exhaling through your mouth also gently.    Breathing in slowly and deeply, and breathing out any toxins, attachments, or energies that are not yours, breathing in light and warmth, exhaling to cleanse your body.   Keep breathing this way as I guide you, or return to your normal breathing. Ring bell 3 times While you are breathing, imagine yourself deep inside the earth.   You may be a living being, a gas, a liquid, a mineral, a solid something, an airy something, or any other type of substance, or material. Quantum Leap Meditation

With eyes closed, sitting or lying down quietly Breathing rythmically in your own unique manner Allowing energy to flow into your body, all your cells Bones and organs, and let your body relax Take long, deep breaths in and out Breathing in love, compassion and hope Breathing out, letting go of any tensions Restrictions, pain or tightness In the body Letting go of any Negative energies or attachments that No longer serve you, surrendering them into the Air or into Mother Earth to be alchemized. Seed Meditation

I invite you to close your eyes if you feel comfortable doing so. Let's breathe together naturally and then a little more deeply. We are going to drop into our bodies and enter darkness for a few moments. Just Breathe as you develop your own unique rhythmic breathing style. Imagine being a seed with a strong protective shell. We are being planted into the soil of Gaia, Mother Earth. We as seeds are placed gently into the dark, fertile, damp soil deep underground. Breathe. We become aware of our placement, looking at the dark dirt around us, noticing the minerals and nutrients that enter us and nourish us. Even the earthworms and other little critters underground add to our community where we are beginning to grow. The mycelial network supports us just as it does while we are on top of the ground. Breathe. Metamorphosis Meditation (for 1/2024 retreat)

Please get comfortable and if you’d like, let’s close our eyes, or not, and breathe together.  Inhale through the nose, and exhale through the mouth.  Slowing down our breathing and taking a pause at the in-breath and a pause at the out-breath, continuously breathing.  Now, picture this circle’s energy as we breathe together.  You may see colors or textures, motion, you may not have any visualizations at all. Just let what comes to you, come, as you breathe with all of us a few more moments. When you are ready, you can bring your attention back to our physical space here, wiggle your toes/fingers, and when you are ready, feel free to open your eyes and join us.
